Chocolat fondant with chartreuse. For more than a century and a half Chocolat Bonnat and Chartreuse have been working together. This bar is made from rare cacao beans which have been aged in the delicate aromas of Chartreuse in a centenary cask preserved in a historic cave in Voiron.                                                                                                                                  Chartreuse is a French herbal liqueur made by Carthusian monks since 1737, based on a recipe given to them in 1605. The liqueur gained popularity in 1764 and has since evolved into various versions, including Green and Yellow Chartreuse, while maintaining its secret blend of 130 herbs.
