“Mettre un peu de sel dans sa vie“ (add a bit  of salt to your life).  This high quality condiment is harvested by hand in Guérande using ancient practices originally developed by the Landévennec Abbey monks in 945AD. After closely studying the movements of the sun, wind and tides they carefully mapped out a plan to collect the salt as naturally as possible thereby creating an “open-air factory”, which is still utilised today. The salt is unrefined, unwashed and free of preservatives and additives. Rich in important minerals and essential trace element.
